Salama Insurance Founded more than 40 years ago in Dubai, Salama Islamic Arab Insurance Company is one of the leading Takaful (or Islamic insurance) companies in the region.

There are a variety of insurance products available from the company, both for individuals and businesses. There are three types of Takaful insurance: auto Takaful, general Takaful (including property, travel, engineering, marine, and liability), and family Takaful (which includes life insurance and investment plans). The company also offers small group and group health plans in addition to individual health plans.

The Salama Islamic Insurance Company is the oldest and largest Takaful company listed on the Dubai Financial Market, with subsidiaries in Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, and Senegal, as well as associates in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
